Rohit Tamhane, CEO

Founded in 2005, Arcadia Home Care is a 100% Canadian owned, independent company. We are committed to helping those living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, ABI, and related disorders.

Arcadia Home Care is owned and operated by Rohit Tamhane. He graduated from York University in 1995 with a Bachelor’s Degree in political science and a minor in philosophy. He began his career as a programmer analyst. However, it was not his career but his personal experience that led him to appreciate the challenges faced by those living with Alzheimer’s disease, ABI, and related disorders. While serving as a volunteer with the Alzheimer Society of Toronto, he gained valuable knowledge and experience about the opportunities available to improve the quality of life for individuals and their families living with Alzheimer’s disease. Since then, he and his staff have been gratified to see the positive results that can be achieved from early intervention, utilization of existing resources, services provided by knowledgeable workers and case management. Rohit is deeply committed to his community and is an active member of Rotary club of Toronto.
